Waves are such unruly things that sometimes I like to overlay geometry as I paint them, defining the shapes. It gives the curl some extra pop. This particular wave is from the north side of Cape Foulweather. Painted in juicy-thick brushstrokes with satisfying texture.

The painting is on 5x5” panel and is fitted into a solid wood frame that has been painted white with slightly sanded edges. The boxy frame measures just over 6x6” and 1 3/8” deep. Ready to hang on the wall or sit upright on a shelf.

Paintings will be snugly packaged and shipped with tracking and insurance.
