A miniature painting savoring the way light glows through the thin peel of a wave just before it crashes. Scallops of green waves fill this compass, as if you’re looking through a portal at the ocean just outside. All hand-painted in oil enamel.

The compass is properly functional, and is made of brass with an antique copper patina. It measures 2x2", and is 1/2" deep when closed. It has a snug hinge, and a button knob for opening. There is an engraving of a ship on the outer cover.

All packages are shipped via USPS with tracking and insurance, and come wrapped in a small kraft box with a ribbon. Comes with a hankering to quit your job and travel the globe.
