A thick, swooping smash of a wave during the dusky end of sunset. This image comes from a stretch of California called the Lost Coast, where a deeply sloping black sand beach boasts a fiercely dangerous riptide.

The painting is on 5x5” panel and is fitted into a hand-painted, solid wood frame. The frame measures just over 6x6” and 1 3/8” deep. It can hang on the wall or sit upright on a shelf.
